Testimonials
Speed and Quickness
Jim Bush, Retired Head Coach, USC & UCLA Track Teams - Five time NCAA Track Champions:
"We tried using the Springbak insoles on 7 or 8 of our athletes and every time one of them commented that they felt better; they felt like they got a little more bounce off the track. They felt like they were running easier and the springbak insole did increase their speed some. I think the insole really helps them; they need something to cushion the shock when they're running that fast. There's no doubt in my mind that the Springbak insoles have helped."
Michael Yessis, PHD, Biomechanic Consultant for many Olympic teams; Author of 10 books and over 2,000 articles:
"There is some new relatively simple equipment that can improve speed. One such product is Springbak Springsoles. When running they allow up to 80% return of energy, this in turn improves your running speed significantly."
Eduard Vozar, former Assistant Coach of the Czech Republic National Track Team:
"I personally took part in double blind speed study, testing of 31 athletes from Brigham Young University and the Czeck Republic National Track and Junior National Soccer Teams. The results of the study showed a very impressive 1-1/2 percent improvement in speed. I also participated in a double blind vertical jump study involving the Slovakian National men's volleyball team; they jumped an average of 2 inches higher in Springsoles."
Jim Osborne, Head Coach, Brigham Young University Men's Tennis Team and former Davis Cup Member of the US team: "Our team was definitely quicker with Springsoles, but the greatest advantage our team noticed is that they were less fatigued after matches, particularly after playing two days in a row."
Dave Houle, Head Coach Mountain View H.S. Orem, UT Track, Cross Country & Girl's Basketball; 60 State and 7 National Titles; 6 for Cross Country and 1 for Girls Basketball(Most in U.S. High School history):
"In basketball I noticed a big improvement in our team's quickness, especially moving from side to side and going for rebounds, after inserting Springsoles. In Cross Country our last 3 National Championships were accomplished wearing Springsoles. When running a complete circuit on our 800 meter training tracks our athletes consistently run 2 seconds faster in Springsoles."
George Curtis, Head Athletic Trainer; Brigham Young University:
"I want to thank you for introducing me to your VIBRA flexibility oil, I found it very intersting when I used it last spring with selective football players during their 40 yard sprint timing trials. I picked 10 different individuals at random and applied the oil after they had ran their first 40 yard dash. All 10 of them ran faster the second time. I also tried it on my son who was a Jr. High distance runner. At his 800 meter trials he ran about 6 seconds faster having applied the oil. The next day during his 1600 meters he ran 16 seconds faster."
Jumping
Carl McGown, Head Coach Brigham Young University Men's Volleyball Team, NCAA Division 1 Coach of the year in 1999 and 2001:
"We love Springsoles from Springbak. We have been using them for several years. They have influenced our ability to jump and be a very explosive team."
John Cook, Head Coach University of Nebraska Women's Volleyball Team, NCAA Division 1 Coach of the year in 2000:
"There is no doubt in my mind after testing and hearing the athlete's feedback that your innersoles help our athletes jump higher and move quicker"
Dave Houle, Head Coach Mountain View H.S. Track, Cross Country & Women's Basketball Orem, UT; 60 State and 7 National Titles (Most in U.S. High School history):
"We tested 23 of our track athletes with and without Springsoles, taking two one leg hops; they averaged 15.8 inches farther in Springsoles."
Mark Robison, Head Coach Men's Track for BYU:
"We conducted a study involving 17 of our track athletes on the BYU men's track team. In every trial our athletes jumped farther in Springsoles; the average improvement was 13.6 inches. In prior years testing of the Springsoles our athletes went 3 inches higher in their verticals."
Bud Belnap, PHD, Professor Human Performance Dept, Weber State University, Ogden, UT:
"While personally observing members of Weber State Basketball and Track teams, I saw a dramatic improvement in their vertical leap when using the Springsoles; 3-1/4 inches was the average improvement."
Kathy Gregory, Head Coach Women's Volleyball for UC Santa Barbara; Division 1 Coach of the Year - 1993:
"In our Spring Training program the combination of our weight lifting and SPRINGBAK technology, led to an average increase of 2 inches from our pre-season testing."
Strength
Michael Yessis, PHD, Biomechanic Consultant for many Olympic teams; Author of 10 books and over 2,000 articles:
"Run significantly faster in Springsoles...stand on them you are stronger."
Mike Singletary, Hall of Fame Linebacker, Chicago Bears:
"When testing Springsoles I was far more stable and anchored to the ground. I felt stronger and quicker. I really feel Springsoles could have extended my NFL career 2 more years."
Hugh McCutchen, Head Coach USA Men's National Volleyball Team:
"While an assistant coach at BYU I tested spiking speed of our men's volleyball team with a speed gun. After an hour of testing it became apparent that they were hitting approximately 5% faster in Springsoles."
Dave Moore, M.S, C.S.C.S, President of StrengthCoach.com, Former strength coach at the following universities; UC Davis, Wyoming, Marquette and Loyola Marymount:
"I have trained over 1000 athletes from high school, college, and professional sports and have been introduced to all kinds of training equipment. The Springbak insoles are the simplest and most effective training aide I have ever come across. No athlete should be training without them in their shoes."
Dane Iorg, Retired Major League Baseball Player; Part owner of Ultimate Sports Baseball Academy, Lindon, UT:
"We timed 12 of our players throwing speed with and without Springsoles; All 12 threw faster and averaged approximately 5 mph faster throwing speed in Springsoles."
Howard Gray, PHD, Director of the Department of Gerontology at Brigham Young University:
"Our department sponsored a strength and stability study at the Weber State University human Performance lab. After reviewing the force plate data, showing it took more than twice the force to push subjects off the force plate when standing on Springsoles, we have to conclude there is a significant strength increase to individuals utilizing Springsoles."
Dave Houle, Head Coach Mountain View H.S. Track, Cross Country & Women's Basketball Orem, UT; 60 State and 7 National Titles (Most in U.S. High School history):
"We strength tested 21 of our track athletes during the 2002 season. Seventeen athletes did clap push-ups without Springsoles in their first trial. Eight to ten minutes later with Springsoles, they were able to do 35% more clap push ups, despite fatigue and the break down of lactic acid in their arms and shoulders from the first trial. I personally observed 4 of our male shot-putters throw 3-4 feet farther immediately after inserting Springsoles with Vibra geometric patterns in their shoes."
Dave Richards, Head Coach USA Men's Para Olympic Volleyball Team (players with prosthetic foot):
"The two greatest handicaps for players with prosthetic feet are balance/stability and vertical leap. Springsoles solves both problems. All players on the Para Olympic volleyball team wear them. There is a great improvement in both balance and stability. I would say their vertical jump improvement is a conservative two inches."
Lessen Injury & Fatigue
Jim Bush, Retired Head Coach, USC & UCLA Track Teams - Five time NCAA Track Championships:

Dave Houle, Head Coach Mountain View H.S. Track, Cross Country & Women's Basketball Orem, UT; 60 State and 7 National Titles (Most in U.S. High School history):
"Track is a sport where my teams historically averaged 5 to 10 injuries a season ranging from shin splints, stress fractures to serious muscle pulls. In the 2003 track season (where both boys and girls easily took state) we had zero (0) leg injuries, not even one case of shin splints. The only variable I can attribute this injury free season to is that all my runners and jumpers, from the start of the season, trained and competed in Springsoles. It appears to me that the shock absorbing qualities of Springsoles prevented these common leg injuries through the entire season."
Mark Robison, Head Coach Men's Track for BYU:
"We feel the shock absorbing qualities in Springsoles have had a significant effect in reducing the number of our leg injuries from preseason training, through the track season."
